Hi all,

I am on my last tether here people.

I have a huge report due, and I need to perform cost analysis (a market will bear analysis, to be precise) comparing a hypothetical RNAi treatment for AML, and I will be comparing it to products already on the market.

The products are more like therapies, such as bone marrow transplant, or chemotherapy.

I, for the life of me, *cannot* find any pricing information for the following

The drug “Cytarabine” or “ara-C”

This drug also goes by the following trade names: Cytostar-U, Tarabine PFS, Depocyt.

The other drug is Daunorubicin / Daunomycin / Rubidomycin

This also has the trade name of “Cerubidine”

—————-

What I am after is price per dose information, and the resources where they can be found.

I cannot even find a manufacturers website for ANY of those drugs. It’s insane!

Any help would be most amazing.

Thanks!
Thanks for the quick reply!

Both prices would be wonderful, but as this is a report, any information I have must be linked to a referenced source, so what would be the best would be sales data posted by the manufacturer.

Who do you order these drugs through? For some reason I cannot even nail down this particular information.

How might a biologist determine whether a mutation has occurred, and if so, how would they be able to tell what type of mutation it is? Think of the tools they may use to study an individual’s genotype.

RNAi involves degrading which nucleic acid?

A.DNA
B.tRNA
C.mRNA
D. rRNA

This genetic test is extremely helpful in identifying SNPs

A.PCR
B. DNA microarray
C. Southern blot
D. Northern blot

An over abundance of this hormone can result in more aggressive behaviors.

A.seratonin
B. norepinepherine
C. epinepherine
D. cortisol

Thanks so much :]

Can anyone tell me how these two subtypes of RNAi are different and how they are similar?

does anyone have info on these proposed birth control types:
1) RNAi
2) pregnancy vaccine
3) Capnor
4) non-surgical tubal ligation using chemical plugs.

also, any dates would be helpful

are there any controversies with RNAi research? What are the ethinics involved?

is there any way I could get a face-to-face interview with a RNAi scientist? I really appreciate it if you can help!

i know that andrew fire and craig mello discovered that dsRNA cause RNA interference but they could not deduce RNAi Pathway.( involving Dicer, RISC complex etc)

1) Can u please tell me who / which group/s deduced the RNAi pathway ( for bith si RNA and mi RNA)??

2) or can u plese type link/ site for RNAi PATHWAY discovery (that includes scientists name and their experiments to deduce the pathway)???

3) or can u type the site where i can freely download/ view the total and original paper/s of the scientists who discovered the pathway??

HELP PLEEEEEEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank u!!

is it true the function of each gene in organisms, like humans, is still unknown but RNAi is helping scientists figure it all out?

just give me a good summary of what rescuing means, thank you

What are the benefits of using RNAi to inhibit gene function over generating a gene knock-out (i.e.. a knock-out mouse)? What might be the problems with using RNAi?
